About This Course
INTRODUCTION
Coding.bn is an initiative by Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) and a programme under Manpower Industry Steering Committee Working Group for ICT Sector (MISC-WG ICT) in which it is a coding academy that provides a platform to train youth jobseekers with the necessary in-demand programming skills so they are more employable and industry-ready.
The programme consists of 3 months full-time classes and 3 months on-the-job training and overall mentorship.
OBJECTIVE
- To sharpen the programming skills that will increase the participants potential to be employed.
- To facilitate the upskilling of participants with industry competencies based on the demand and requirements of potential hiring entities.
ELIGIBILITY
- Citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam;
- Currently Unemployed ;
- Youth aged between 18 to 35 years old; and
- Holding minimum academic qualification at Level 5 of the Brunei Darussalam Qualification Framework (BDQF) e.g. Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Participants from other fields with the passion and dedication to venture in the ICT field may also be considered. It would be an advantage for the participants to have basic knowledge and skills in programming.

AITI’s Tech Experience Learning Overseas in a Real-Working Environment (TechXPLORE) Digital Apprenticeship Programme is a seven-month international programme designed to immerse participants in an advanced ICT and digital working environment abroad.
